My phonics reading system addresses the four learning styles of visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic learners. That is really important because children and adults too, fall into one of these groups and maybe even more than one of the groups…but one group will usually be dominant.
When you play a phonics game with your child, it is important to focus on the learning style that he is the most comfortable with and that produces the fastest and easiest results.
I will share some tips with you to help you figure out which one of the four learning styles is your child’s dominant learning style. But don’t worry too much about it; I have automatically built in lots of practice for your child in my Phonics Reading System, no matter which learning style suits him best.
If you don’t already have it, you can purchase it. It is available right over there. ----->
I just want you to be able to recognize the subtle clues your child is displaying for you. That way, when you work with him on other lessons…and different subjects, you will be able to make it much easier for him...and a lot more fun too.
In my next post, I will show you the language and behavior of the “visual” learner. Then the next post will be all about the language and behavior of the “auditory” learner. Following that post will be another one about the “tactile” learner. And finally, to wrap up this review on the four learning styles will be the “kinesthetic” learner.
I hope you enjoy this series of blog posts.
